Vapo Oy’s CEO Tomi Yli-Kyyny to resign

Tomi Yli-Kyyny, who has been Vapo Oy’s CEO since 2011, will resign at his own request. According to Yli-Kyyny, his future employer will publish a release about the matter in the near future based on its decision-making and notification schedule.

CEO Yli-Kyyny and Vapo Oy’s Board of Directors have agreed that Yli-Kyyny will continue in his position at Vapo Oy until further notice. The company will immediately start measures to select a new CEO.

“I wish to thank Yli-Kyyny for the work he has done for the company in the last few years. During his time, the company has undergone a significant reform, and in particular Yli-Kyyny has promoted the responsibility and innovativeness of the company and the utilisation of digital technology in both traditional and new sectors,” says Jan Lång, Chairman of the Board of Directors.
