We have an exclusive access to Nordic raw materials, which are developed refined into scientifically proven, high value products—taking them from our laboratories all the way to fields and farms. The Nordic conditions – harsh winters and long summer daylight, among other things, shape distinct chemical and biological properties in the raw materials, compared to global alternatives. Neova Agro turns these raw materials into high value-added products, bringing the best of Nordic nature to the farms and fields.

The foundation of Neova Agro was created a decade ago when Neova made a responsible decision to do more with less. This meant that we wanted to use less natural resources including peat and other organic raw materials, while providing greater value to our clients. With this decision, we established an innovation unit to develop new high-value-added products and businesses. That innovation unit is today Neova Agro, developing and offering innovative Nordic solutions for Animal Nutrition and Crop Solutions.

SUSTAINABILITY – THE CORE OF OUR NORDIC SOLUTIONS

Neova Agro maximizes value from minimal natural resources in food production by refining peat-based biomass and other organic materials into high-value products. Peat covers two-thirds of Finland’s land area and is yearly formed more than collected. We use sustainably sourced peat and combine many decades traditional know-how with advanced research for efficient processing. Our peat-based products boost agricultural productivity efficiently: e.g. the annual yield from just 10 hectares of peat can revitalize 150,000 hectares of farmland in form of biostimulants, while also helping to increase soil carbon stocks. Neova Agro’s products are produced from Nordic organic raw materials, following the world’s strictest environmental regulation related to peatlands and raw material production.
